Hi, friends! Let’s just get straight into it - Sephora’s Annual Fall VIB Sale is coming up. This year, they’re calling it the Holiday Bonus Sale. Sephora has been going crazy with the sales recently, like what’s gotten into them? I’m not complaining at all, but it’s a bit overwhelming! Their Friends & Family Sale just finished on October 13th (which I didn’t do a post on because I was in Japan) and just a few weeks later, they’re having another sale! My wallet is actually crying.
We were all a little confused when the VIB Appreciation Sale happened in late August/early September and wondered if that sale replaced their annual Fall VIB Sale. Thank goodness it didn’t! The Sephora Fall VIB Sale is always one of the biggest because of the many holiday sets and new collections that are released in the last quarter of the year. The VIB Appreciation Sale was too early to get deals on the holiday collections.
So far, only the information for those with VIB ROUGE status has been announced because their starting date is earlier than it is for those with VIB and Beauty Insider statuses. However, based on the Rouge information and previous years’ sales, we can make a pretty educated guess.

These VIB Sales are an amazing chance to try out new items, splurge on high-end items, and stock up on your favorites! I already have a handful of items I know I’m going to buy and this sale is probably going to kill me financially LOL. Here is my list of new items that definitely have been giving me heart-eyes and I’m dying to try, along with the tried-and-trues, which you can’t go wrong stocking up on!
*Discounted prices in red reflect a 20% discount.
Try something new / Splurge a little:
Hourglass – Ambient Lighting Palettes |
I’ve had my eye on the Hourglass Ambient Powders for a long time, but they are just so expensive! With the cost of the single powder being $46 and the cost of the palette of 3 powders being $62, these palettes of 6 powders definitely seem like a deal at $80. 20% ($16) off definitely makes it a lot better!
Marc Jacobs – O!Mega Glaze All-Over Foil Luminizer |
I’m the biggest fan of Marc Jacobs Beauty and when I first saw this hit Sephora, I immediately added it to my shopping cart. It’s a little pricey for a single highlighter, so I’m waiting for the sale to purchase it. Plus, it’s massive! And isn’t it GORGEOUS?!
Laura Mercier – Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow |
If you haven’t tried this version of the famous Laura Mercier Setting Powder, you need to right now! This Glow version is one of the best things that has ever happened to my makeup life. It gives the most beautiful, subtle all-over glow to your face.
Fenty Beauty – Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil |
UMM HELLO FENTY BEAUTY killing us with all of the recent releases. I first saw Thomas Halbert raving about this highlighter in one of his videos and I knew I needed it as soon as I saw it.
Fenty Beauty – Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter Palette |
See what I mean with Fenty Beauty killing us with these releases?! Just look at this gorgeous palette! Of course, it’s not your everyday highlighter palette, but doesn’t it just make you want to step out of your comfort zone a little? Don’t worry about not being able to use all of the shades - all highlighters can be used as eyeshadows!
Anastasia Beverly Hills – Sultry Eyeshadow Palette |
I haven’t purchased an ABH palette since Modern Renaissance (I KNOW it’s been a while), but I think this might have to be my next one. Although it doesn’t scream excitement, with the neutral and cool-toned shades, it’s refreshing to see something different and very practical from the brand! I can totally see this being an everyday palette for many people because of its wearability, especially for those that have an office job.
Urban Decay – Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette |
I think all of the Naked Palette fans are happy that we finally got another Naked palette! (It’s been over a year since the Naked Heat Palette was released…?) And I think the color scheme of the Naked Cherry Palette is stunning and is definitely the perfect addition to the NAKED family.
Huda Beauty – The Overachiever High Coverage Concealer |
I saw a clip from the Huda Beauty Facebook TV Series of her concealers being pulled because she was unhappy with the formula, so I know these concealers are a long-time coming! With how full-coverage her foundation is, I’m curious how full-coverage this concealer is. It’s definitely worth a try!
Huda Beauty – Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette - Precious Stones Collection |
These mini palettes have always stood out to me because I love having a palette where all shades are cohesive and you won’t have to worry about looking crazy, even if you use every single shade LOL. These new ones - the Precious Stones Collection - especially stand out to me. It must be the shimmers. Ya girl loves shimmer.
Huda Beauty also is releasing a new larger palette - The New Nude Palette, available 11/01 - which introduces a new shadow formula: “reflective shades feature shimmering pearl flecks for a gorgeous, duo-chromatic finish.” The sale will still be on when it’s released, so it might be worth a try, too!
Charlotte Tilbury – Stars in Your Eyes Palette |
I’ve been lusting over Charlotte Tilbury products for a while now, but everything from the brand is definitely a splurge item. Charlotte Tilbury is known for having very high-quality products and with the sale, this is the perfect time to finally splurge!
Sunday Riley – Good Genes Holiday Kit |
Sunday Riley definitely has a cult following in the beauty industry, largely thanks to the Good Genes acid treatment. Considering it costs $105 for a 1 oz. bottle of Good Genes and this set includes a 1 oz. bottle, it’s an incredible deal!
Drunk Elephant – Agent Ellie Day Kit |
Similar to Sunday Riley, Drunk Elephant is another skincare brand that has amassed quite the following! This set includes a full-version of their popular C-Firma Day Serum and considering just that serum retails for $80, this set is an amazing deal!
Drunk Elephant – The Trunk |
If you have the means to drop this kind of cash, I’d say this set is totally worth it. If you were to buy all of these products separately, it would amount to $592. So, this set is already discounted a ton and with the 20% off during the sale, the price comes down to $340. Still a lot of money but definitely a good deal.
Tatcha – Skincare For Makeup Lovers Obento Box |
This set is one that you definitely cannot go wrong with. Just as the name of the set suggests, the products in this set are amazing tools to help you achieve flawless skin for seamless makeup application!
Natasha Denona – Gold Eyeshadow Palette |
Natasha Denona is another brand that is known for high-quality products and is definitely in the splurge price point. Everyone raves about the formula of Natasha Denona shadows and this sale is the best time to try it out! There are also mini palettes of 5 shadows that are much more affordable.
Pat McGrath Labs – Mothership V Eyeshadow Palette - Bronze Seduction |
Pat McGrath Labs is another brand that’s definitely a splurge! None of the previous Mothership Palettes really spoke to me, BUT THIS ONE. I totally might need to get this one. Look at that duo-chrome shade!
I always use this sale to stock up on my favorite items that I know I’m going to purchase more of in the future. For some of these products, I have at least 3 backups, but that doesn’t stop me from buying more during every sale LOL.
Laura Mercier – Translucent Loose Setting Powder |
This is a setting powder that I know will never disappoint me. I can be confident about the wear of my foundation whenever I use this powder.
Urban Decay – All Nighter Long-Lasting Setting Spray Duo |
I buy this duo every single time it’s available. The Urban Decay Setting Spray is definitely a holy grail and the setting spray I keep going back to after trying new sprays. With a regular price of $32, $39 for two full-sized bottles is a steal. AND if you get it during the sale, the price drops to $31.20 - less than the normal price for one. No-brainer.
Anastasia Beverly Hills – Brow Definer |
Brow products are probably one of the products we all go through the most. And there’s no doubt you’ll have to repurchase your favorite brow product (the ABH Brow Definer is mine) sometime in the near future. This sale is the perfect time to stock up! I honestly have 4 spares of these LOL.
Kat Von D – Tattoo Liner |
Eyeliner is another one of the products you can go through pretty quickly, especially if you’re using it every day. The Kat Von D Tattoo Liner is one of the best and the one I use. Definitely use this sale to get a backup of your favorite.
NARS – Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation |
NARS – Radiant Creamy Concealer |
Concealer is another product that I go through really quickly and nothing is worse than when you pick up your concealer to cover up your dark circles and realize you have to scrape the edges of the tube to try to get some product out. Along with my brow product, I ALWAYS have a backup of concealer on hand, more so than other products. And the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is one of the best.
Beautyblender – The Original Beautyblender |
I think we can all agree that one can never have too many makeup sponges. And I think we can also agree that we should probably clean and/or replace our sponges more often than we do LOL. Stock up on them during the sale so you’re not left with a gross sponge and nothing to replace it with.
There are also two sets that I would definitely recommend. The Two.BB.Clean set comes with two original beautyblender sponges and liquid cleanser. The Sweet Indulgence set comes with 4 beautyblender sponges (different colors) and 4 mini solid cleansers.
Drunk Elephant – C-Firma Day Serum |
If one of the Drunk Elephant sets above don’t suit your fancy, or you’ve tried this serum already you’re sure that you only want this product, definitely save some cash by getting it during the sale!
Drunk Elephant – TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum |
Similar to the C-Firma Day Serum, if you’re already using this serum and know you’re going to purchase it again soon, or you don’t have any interest in the other items in the various Drunk Elephant sets, definitely pick one up during the sale. There’s also a larger size of this serum that’ll save you even more cash in the long-run.
Tatcha – The Silk Canvas |
I think I will keep repurchasing this primer forever. It’s that good. I use it every single day and it’s definitely become a staple in my makeup routine. It actually isn’t recommended that you stock up on this product because of the formula, but having one backup is okay - just don’t open the sealed bag it comes in.
Tatcha – The Water Cream |
This sale is a great time to get a backup of your favorite moisturizer, especially if your favorite is expensive like this cult-favorite Tatcha Water Cream!
Bobbi Brown – Vitamin Enriched Face Base |
This primer is another staple in my everyday makeup routine. I apply the Tatcha Silk Canvas first, then this one on top. I have tried a ton of primers and I always come back to this one.
You can read my full review on it here. This review is from over 2 years ago. YES, I’ve been using it religiously for that long.
Clinique – Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm |
This has been my makeup remover of choice recently so I’m definitely picking a few of these up during the sale. It does such an amazing job in removing makeup, even stubborn mascara, while being gentle and moisturizing!
Clarisonic – Replacement Brush Head Twin-Pack |
If you’re a Clarisonic user like I am (I have the Mia 1), you know that before you even realize it, your brush head needs to be replaced! It’s recommended that you change it every 3 months (or if it starts to look gross sooner LOL). So, getting a twin-pack is definitely a good idea since you’re probably going to buy it anyway later!
I could really keep listing products for days! I’ve been trying to narrow down my own list and I think this might be my biggest Sephora purchase ever LOL.
LUCKILY, SEPHORA IS A PARTICIPATING STORE ON EBATES YAY! Use Ebates every time you order something online so you can get a bit of your money back! (Some stores even offer in-store cash back) I’ve made over $400 in cash back from Ebates since I started under 2 years ago and I literally only buy makeup LOL so if you’re not using it, you’re totally missing out! I wrote a review on Ebates when I first started using it here.
