September Favorites

Hi, friends! I know we're already over a week into October, but I still wanted to put together a list of my September favorites! The last few weeks have been so busy for me as I just started a new job and I start at 7 every day! Kill me. My body still hasn't adjusted to my new schedule and I'm totally exhausted by the time I get home. I'm trying hard to balance my life and manage my time so the blog doesn't take too much of a backseat, so bear with me for now, guys!

It seems like just yesterday that I was writing my August Favorites post and I cannot believe how fast the days are just flying by. Just a few more months until Christmas! Do any of you have fun plans for the holidays? OH! And this month is my birthday month! I'll be turning 25 in just over a week. :)

Okay, I'll stop rambling now and let's get into my favorites of last month!

e.l.f. Cosmetics -  Hydrating Bubble Mask | e.l.f. | $14

I've used this mask a few times now and I absolutely love it! Seeing it bubble up on your face is hilarious and it's so much fun smashing all the bubbles down when you need to take it off. I will admit that this product may be on the gimmicky side because it's not an exfoliating mask, or even a real cleansing mask (it cleanses the skin a bit, but it shouldn't be your main cleanser), it's pretty much just a hydrating mask, so I don't really see the purpose of the bubbling. It does leave the skin feeling soft and hydrated, but you could get the same feeling from a hydrating sheet mask or just a normal moisturizer, which require less clean-up. However, even though it's a bit gimmicky, that doesn't stop me from loving it! Beauty should be fun and this mask is definitely fun!

e.l.f. Cosmetics - Pointed Powder Brush | e.l.f. | $6

I first bought this brush as part of my e.l.f. haul specifically to set my under-eye area with loose powder, but it's a tad bit too big for me to use for that. SO, I recently tried using it to set my entire face with loose setting powder and I love it for that! I was using a rounded fluffy brush before, but this one makes it easier to set hard-to-reach areas like in the crevices around my nose. My foundation always breaks apart around my nose, but being able to really get into those areas with this brush has made a world of a difference. Since its pointed tip makes it more precise than a big fluffy brush, it's easier to pat/lay down loose powder precisely in my problem areas without the powder exploding on my face. And the brush is so fluffy and well-made, it feels like a dream. Lovesss ittt.

BH Cosmetics - Solar Flare Palette | BH Cosmetics | $15.99

I recently did a post on this palette, so you can read my thoughts in detail and see swatches on that post. But, in a nutshell, I love the unique shades of this palette so much! The quality is really impressive, especially for such an affordable price. The shadows blend out really well and also look beautiful packed onto the lid.

BH Cosmetics is having a sale on all of their makeup right now! Ends today (10/9/17) at 11:59 PST! Brushes are 25% off and everything else is BOGO free!

Kylie Cosmetics - Rosie Velvet Lip Kit | Kylie Cosmetics | $27

I bought this lip kit a few months ago and I only opened it recently because I wasn't sure how the color would look on me and I thought maybe I would return it. I've never been a dark(ish) lip color girl mostly because you can't make a mistake, especially with these long-wearing formulas. It's just so hard to correct a mistake if you make one. However, after trying it once, I fell in love with it! This is a velvet lip kit so it's not nearly as drying as the matte lip kits from Kylie Cosmetics, which makes it really comfortable to wear. This color is also a perfect fall lip color! Perfect for the season. I'm wearing this lip kit in my "Brunch" hat photo in my September Instagram Snaps post it you'd like to see what it looks like on. :)

Hourglass Cosmetics - Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick | HourglassSephora | Nordstrom | $46

I'm not going to talk much about this foundation because I am planning on doing a full review on it soon. But, I will say that I've been wearing it every day for the past two weeks. It's lightweight, has a beautiful finish, and it's easy to apply. Also, sorry for those fingerprints on the tube in the photo LOL ignore them!

Caseapp - Custom Phone Case and Laptop Skin | Caseapp

This is not a beauty product, but I just have to mention it because I can't stop staring at my phone and laptop! Both products were fully customizable, even though I chose to only customize my phone case and leave the laptop skin as-is. Marble is so popular these days and Caseapp has a ton of different types of marble designs to choose from. You can also put your own photos or graphics on the design. You can basically do anything you want! I chose the standard phone case instead of the "tough" cases because I don't like bulky cases, but the quality is still awesome. I've already dropped my phone a few times on concrete (yikes!) and my phone and the case is still in perfect condition.

I am doing a giveaway on my instagram and the winner will receive a code for a FREE product from Caseapp. See my IG post here to enter. Also, feel free to use my code LIANA20 for 20% your purchase (code expires on Nov. 19th). :)

And that's it for my favorites of September! I'd love to hear your experiences with these products and I would also love to hear any recommendations for new products to try!

I hope all of you are having a great month so far and as always, thank you for reading! Until next time. <3
