June Favorites

Hi, friends! I can't believe it's already July! The first half of the year has just flown by and it's ridiculous that it's already the second half of the year! I have some big travel plans in the next couple of months that of course, I will be blogging about. Super excited for that! Hope you all have an exciting second half of the year, too! <3 I have 6 favorites to share with you today and they are all products that I purchased in the last month. Without further ado, let's get into my favorites!

L'oreal Paris -Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation

As a dupe for my very favorite foundation, NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation, this foundation became my go-to for everyday use, especially for quick trips to the market and other times when I don't want or need a full-coverage foundation. Its finish is a super beautiful demi-matte finish, similar to the NARS foundation, which leaves the skin looking pretty natural and not "cakey." Even though it is a medium-coverage foundation, it is buildable to full-coverage, which makes it a super versatile foundation that can be used for any type of look. It's a winner!

Wet n Wild -ColorIcon Blush in Pearlescent Pink

This blush is SO GOOD. It's really similar to the NARS Blush in Orgasm, but a little more subdued and less pink. It's the perfect everyday blush color, especially on light skin tones. I used to wear NARS Orgasm every day, but I actually prefer this one because it's slightly less pink. And for $2.99?! I don't know how Wet n Wild does it. The packaging does feel very cheap and I feel like I'm going to break it every time I open it, but there is nothing cheap about the quality of the blush. It goes on so smooth and evenly, blends out nicely, and it's just absolutely amazing. (View my Drugstore Haul for swatch)

Anastasia Beverly Hills - Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit

This is definitely my most favorite recent purchase. I'm actually upset that I got it so late and spent so long without it in my life! I thought Kitty Kat would be my favorite shade, but I actually LOVE each shade! They are all so good! They are creamy, go on evenly, and SO pigmented - a little does go a long way. For $40, I totally think it's worth it. That's almost $7/shade, but the pans are huge! I've also been using them as shimmer eyeshadows on my lids and they work great for that, especially when applied wet. I don't think there has been a day within the last month that I haven't used this palette in some way. Highly recommend! (View my Luxury Haul for swatches)

Bobbi Brown - Hydrating Face Cream

I've been plagued with really dry skin in the last month and I have no idea why! It's summer! (I actually think it was a reaction to a cleansing wipe I used to remove my makeup. And I only used it once!) But, this face cream has done such a good job at keeping my face moisturized. I use it as a night cream and my skin always feels super soft and supple when I wake up. The cream is on the thick side, so I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types, but it's amazing for dry to normal skin types. I usually have pretty normal skin when I don't have a reaction to something and I still use this face cream. It doesn't leave me feeling oily at all and I think it actually has helped control my acne. (Doesn't help the once a month breakout, though. Boo to hormones!) It's a bit on the pricey side, at $58, and I can't really say that it's worth it... because you could probably find something just as good for a lower price. I highly recommend if you're into luxurious skincare, though. (Especially because it smells amazing!)

L'oreal Paris - Glossy Balm in Ginger Candy

Ooooh this was such a good find at Walgreens! It was on their "last chance" sale so I got it for only $3.99! Unfortunately, that probably means it's being discontinued. This product is a tinted lip balm with a glossy finish and it has been my go-to lip product last month. I'm still not big on lipstick (but, I'm trying!), so this is a perfect product for me to throw on, just to get some shine and color on my lips. It's a super subdued shade, so it's perfect for almost any type of eye look I have on. It can also be worn on top of lipsticks if you want a glossy shine without a glossy feel, which I absolutely love.

Morphe Brushes - Y-6 Foundation Brush

I seriously do not know how I was doing my foundation before I started using this brush. It's a flat kabuki brush that's great for achieving a flawless finish. It blends out the foundation beautifully and doesn't leave you looking "cakey." Even after trying very hard to use a blending sponge (L'oreal Infallible Blend Artist Sponge, not a Beauty Blender), I still prefer using a brush. A brush always gives fuller coverage than a sponge, but a sponge gives you a more luminous finish (because it's damp). I'm normally a full-coverage kind of girl, so I prefer a brush. This brush is really densely packed, so not a lot of foundation is soaked up by it. It's the perfect brush to use for really watery foundations, like the NARS foundation that I use. And that gold handle is beautiful!

And, that's it guys! These were the items that I was absolutely loving last month. I would love to hear about your favorite products! I'm always looking for new things to try. :)

Thank you so much for reading! Until next time. <3
